My name is Alice O’Connell. I’m a marriage celebrant who prides myself on working with couples to craft a ceremony that reflects their style and to make their wedding day as fun, meaningful and memorable as possible. I aim to tell each couple’s story in a way that feels natural, personal, and understated.

Outside of my role as a Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, I have been working in the law for the last five years or so. I felt inspired to take on the celebrancy gig because I have always loved writing, working with people, and public speaking. Given I don’t do celebrancy work full-time, I value and enjoy each opportunity to create a tailored and thoughtful ceremony. I really enjoy the writing process, so am always keen to create anything from the romantic and moving, to something fun and full of laughs.
